MosBuild, the largest trade show in Moscow, continues to expand

Russia’s largest trade event, MosBuild, took place on 1-4 April 2008 in Moscow, Russia. The event is spread over Moscow’s two largest and most well known exhibition venues, Expocentr and Crocus Expo, and covered 90,589 m² (net).

This year, a record 2,751 exhibitors took part in MosBuild, representing 43 countries and displaying the full range of products, services and equipment for the building and interiors industry. Visitors numbered 80,100, 97% of whom were trade visitors.

MosBuild is the collective name for six co-located exhibitions, which represent the six major sectors of the Russian building and interiors industry: MosInteriors, WindowBuild, CountryLiving, Stonex, Buildex and Cersanex.

Event Director, Darryl Pawsey, comments, “MosBuild has reinforced its status as the largest trade exhibition in Russia and continues to be the focal point for business in the industry. According to the feedback we receive from our exhibitors, it seems that the Russian market for building and interiors products shows no sign of slowing and, for many international companies, it is the number one strategic growth market. The event has wide appeal; from companies who are new to the market and are looking for distributors to those who are already well established in Russia and are looking to strengthen their presence, arrange meetings with clients and introduce their new products. We are very much looking forward to the 2009 event, which we plan to make even bigger and better than this year’s event”.

The 2009 event will take place on 31 March – 3 April in Moscow.
