MosBuild is Russia’s largest and arguably best known trade event that comprises 25 individual exhibitions in 6 main categories that cover the entire spectrum of products and services within the building and interiors industry.
The exhibition was launched in 1995 as Batimat MosBuild and hosted 200 companies from 20 countries. From modest beginnings, MosBuild grew quickly and some key sectors and product groups emerged that would in future; shape the profile of the event.
The long term growth potential of the building and interiors industry in Russia in the post Soviet era was being recognised by suppliers around the world and the exhibition even continued to grow through the difficult economic period at the end of the 90’s.
In the year 2000, MosBuild covered more than 22,000m² but since then, an explosion of confidence in the vast and growing Russian market attracted the interest of many more companies from around the world. In 2007, MosBuild hosted 2667 companies from 42 countries in two venues and covering over 85,000m²… …and the growth of MosBuild looks set to continue in 2008 and beyond. |
