Russia’s largest trade event expanded even further in 2008, with the addition of Pavilion 2, Lower Level. At over 90,000 m² (net), the show was able to accommodate 2751 exhibitors, which led to an increase in both the number and variety of products on display. The crowd of 98,601 visitors confirmed MosBuild’s status as the most important event in Russia and reflected the country’s thriving building industry.

2007

The migration of more exhibitions to Crocus Expo again creates space for a huge jump in the size of MosBuild. 24% growth takes the event to over 65,000m².

2005

The repackaged MosBuild is heralded as a great success after moving several exhibitions to the new Crocus Expo which allowed for further growth at the established venue, Expocentr. Visitor quality and quantity exceeds expectation and the foundations are made for more growth in 2006 and beyond. Exhibitors report bri business, indicating that the boom period for the building and interiors industry in Russia shows no signs of slowing.

Russia Building Week Logo

The 10th anniversary of the exhibition and the last known as 'Russia Building Week' as the decision is taken to move the name of the event back to 'MosBuild'. All venue space is occupied at Expocentr and Sports Complex Olympiy is forced to construct temporary structures in addition to a second tier in order to accommodate the number of companies wishing to exhibit at Windows & Doors. The event covers over 45,000 sqm and the 1,200+ exhibitors and 90,000+ visitors make the 2004 event the most successful to date.

2003

Russia Building Week took place in two exhibition facilities, Expocentr and Sports Complex Olympiy. 2003 saw the first use of Pavilion 7 at Expocentr, increasing the size of the exhibition by 7,000 sqm. Pavilion 7 hosted two exhibitions: Interiors and Decotex. A second tier of stands is constructed at Sports Complex Olympiy as Windows & Doors pushes the capacity of the venue to its limits. Estimates indicated a record number of visitors to the exhibition — reaching over 100,000.

2002

The exhibition was held in Moscow's two largest suitable exhibition venues, Expocentr and Sports Complex Olympiy: eight special exhibitions were held at Expocentr with Windows & Doors at Olympiy.

That year, the total event attendance was estimated at 85,000 professionals. About 1,500 companies from 36 countries took part in it, and the total area exceeded 30,000 sqm.

2001

Russia Building Week witnessed the launch of Garden Russia (Landscaping and Homesteads) and Windows & Doors as specialist exhibitions within the event. Windows & Doors is held separately at the Sports Complex Olympiy. The exhibition was attended by around 75,000 specialists — a record then for Russia Building Week. More than 1,000 companies from 30 countries took part and 80% of them committed to rebooking for the show the following year.

2000

Russia Building Week is accredited with 'Approved' status from the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI). More than 850 companies from 30 countries exhibited on 22,500 sqm at Expocentr. With the support from the Russian Federation's GosStroi (State Committee for Construction and Architecture), the exhibition holds the 1st International Construction Conference "The Strategy of Developing the Construction Industry in Russia at the Threshold of a New Millennium".
